Written by local historian and son of Glossop, Neville Sharpe, this detailed account of Glossop from prehistory to more recent times, is amply supported by 120 photographs and illustrations, two thirds of which have not been published previously.

The highly readable text is most informative and will provide a trip down memory lane for many of the inhabitants of Glossop and those with a close association with this busy Derbyshire town.
