Officers in Glossop investigate reports of children being approached by men

Officers in Glossop are investigating two reports where children have allegedly been approached by two men.

At present the incidents are not being linked and officers are keeping an open mind and enquiries are ongoing. On one occasion a white transit van was seen.

Parents are asked to remind their children of the ‘stranger danger’ message and report any incidents to both their school and to Glossop police.

Inspector Clark from Glossop Police Station said: “I want to reassure parents and the public that we will investigate any reports of this nature. We will be working closely with schools in the area and will increase our police presence at the relevant times to re-assure the public.”
