The Glossop Vision masterplan aims to:

pull together the key elements which together make up the town centre of Glossop in a masterplan framework, within which improvement and development can take place;
open up access to the Glossop Brook as an alternative thoroughfare to the High Street;
maintain and enhance the integrity of the built environment as it contributes to the unique character of Glossop;
link Glossop physically and visually to its wider setting;
engage the people of Glossop in the decision making process.
