Glossop and District Choral Society has its Spring Concert at Glossop Leisure Centre in High Street East [SK13 8PN] on Saturday, May 15 at 7.30pm. The programme includes Anton Bruckner's Mass in E Minor and John Rutter's Magnificat with soloist Louisa Mould, conducted by Chris O'Hara and accompanied by the Derbyshire Sinfonia. Tickets £8, concessions £6, from Bay Tree Books, 96 High Street West. Society members will take a break until September, when rehearsals begin for Handel's Messiah, to be performed in November. New members will be welcome.
