Now all resident in the Northwest the group gives performances in all kinds of settings through the “Live Music Now”  scheme. They have performed in venues across the country including St Martin in the Fields, York Centre for Early Music, Bridgewater Hall, Royal Festival Hall and The Barbican Centre.  Glossop Parish Church provides the perfect setting for a candlelit concert of music including works by the masters Vivaldi, Handel and Bach.

Glossopdale Community College

“Tell Me The Truth About Love”

 Lois Murray

Lois Murray Soprano   l Chris O’Hara Baritone  l John Miles Piano

The final words of W.H.Auden’s humorous poem provide the title for this evening of opera, cabaret song and poetry exploring the well documented, if unpredictable, subject of love.

With contributions from the masters of the amorous song, Mozart, Rossini and Puccini, as well as Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess and a host of other perennial favourites, join us for an evening of high-octane romance with three artists who need no introduction to Glossop audiences.
